Before GRT Rentals, there was just us — two kids from the East Coast who grew up between New Jersey and New York, met as teenagers in North Carolina, and fell in love. We traveled the world together, and when we were ready to build a family, we put down roots in Georgia.

But the real turning point came when a business opportunity brought us to Virginia. We packed up, embraced a new chapter, and started the search all over again — this time as renters. The same frustrations were waiting for us. Overpriced units. Outdated interiors. Limited options no matter where we looked. That's when we knew this wasn't just a Georgia problem. It was everywhere.

We decided to change it — not just for ourselves, but for everyone dealing with the same thing. GRT Rentals grew out of that experience. We began acquiring properties, investing in meaningful renovations, and creating homes that are truly move-in ready. We focused on the markets we knew personally — Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia — because we believe the best work comes from people who understand the community they serve.
